Personality: Lana is usually a very sweet chu, sometimes too loud and hyper. She can talk quite fast, and that she usually does when she's excited or upset, which could be the reason she has no problems understanding other fast talkers. She makes friends quickly and easily, if she can just find something she has in common with the other chu. Or if the other chu is friendly enough. Lana tries to act and sound cool, but how cool exactly that is - well, I'll let you decide on that.
She generally dislikes sports, with the exceptions of swimming, skiing, and waveboarding, but even so, she still dislikes any competitive sports although she is secretly interested in football (Americans would call it soccer, but I REFUSE). She's also pretty slow physically, well not like Snorlax-slow, only a bit slower than the average chu of her age. And she also gets tired quickly. Which might be the reason she hates racing. Or being time-limited in anything. She is a proud Slav and loves her fellow Slavs. She doesn't usually hold grudges - but if you insult either of her countries, or Slavs in general, she will mark you as an enemy and always consider you as that. She's cool with 'racist' jokes as long as they aren't nasty, though. She is also kind of nostalgic and sometimes complains how 'nothing is as good as it was in the older days' which makes her sound like some 70 year old.
Lana is very interested in languages, especially Slavic but not limited to only them. She wants to be a book translator someday, or a language researcher, or something like that. She speaks Slovenian, Croatian and English fluently (although her Croatian is not the best due to the fact that she didn't really have to use it often; she went to school in Slovenia and when she was in Croatia, she spoke in the dialect of Međimurje), but she also knows German (though she doesn't think she's quite good at it), a liiitle bit of French, Hungarian, and Japanese, although not enough to actually make a sentence that makes sense, and can understand pretty much any Slavic language. She tries not to use English too much, and will use another of the languages she knows whenever she has a chance.
Also collects herbs and enjoys learning about them. She is relatively good at using them for healing, but she has a lot to learn yet.
She also loves exploring and finding out new stuff.

Background: Lana is the youngest of five kids, three of which are male, so she acts like a boy sometimes because of the time she spent with her brothers. However don't call her a boy or.. well, I warned you. She was also teased a lot, so she learned to fight back. She got her love for languages and Slavic stuff from one of her brothers, as well. As a kid she was often teased and laughed at, so she preferred to just go into her story world - she has learned to read at a very young age, when she was only 3 or 4, and has read a lot of books since then. Reading is really something she loves, but not sappy romance stuff because just no. Or anything overly sci-fi because she finds it intimidating. She fears the future of this world and is not too fond of advanced technology. Touch screens? Screw it. Who needs those anyway? And.. there's not much else to know about her past.

Likes: swimming, waveboarding (and to those untaught, despite it has 'wave' in its name, it has nothing to do with water), skiing, strawberries, blackberries, sweet cherries, čevapi (all 'dead' for čevapi xD especially with fried potatoes and ketchup), climbing trees and other stuff, collecting herbs, watching sunrises, wind, big waves on water, snow, ice cream, potatoes, singing, old/retro stuff, carrots, corn, sour candy -wait, why the hell is half of that food? O_o

Dislikes: heat, racing, being limited by time, HEAT, anything too spicy, American propaganda (hates it to no end), dancing, being excluded, fire (she is TERRIFIED of fire), changes (really really dislikes changes, especially if she already had her plans and is then forced to change them. She prefers to get used to something and then keep it as it is unless it wasn't very good in the first place)

Other facts:
- she is panslavist
- you really shouldn't tell her big, surprising news when she's in the water. Consequences can be shocking.
- she doesn't have a particular favourite or least favourite color; whether she likes a color or not depends on where and how it's used (although she seems to like brown very much)
- she doesn't gossip. Ever.
- She is really not always that happy and hyper.
- Probably the most similar-to-me non-sona character I have, although I don't like battling as much
- oh yeah she isn't a bad fighter. And she will fight if she thinks it's needed.
- She stands for her friends. In other words, you hurt her friends, she hurts you double.
- she was never properly socialized so she can sometimes be socially awkward, or sometimes aggressive
- she is very booksmart though and she has read a lot and I mean A LOT of books
- she really really wants to feel like part of the group, however, there are some things she considers below her level and that she would never do, even if it means staying lonely

Type: Well I was thinking Electric/Water, but then again Electric/Grass.. I guess the latter would make more sense as it would explain her fear of fire.
