EDIT: Whoops! Forgot to add mature content filter! because y'know blood. But if you think it doesn't need a filter, tell me. I'd rather not use the filter if I don't have to. I also forgot to credit the chu owners.. But here goes.

Okay you have NO idea how relieving it was to finally get this done, man. When I finally completed it, I just sat back and admired my work.. lD
So here you have some WWII stuff..
With the lyrics to "You Can't Take Me" from Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. Later on I got the idea to use the Polish lyrics, but when I watched the Polish version I noticed the lyrics is totally different.. And I made the thing fit the lyrics, so it wouldn't make much sense if I put the Polish lyrics in, you know. Or I'd have to change the whole drawing, which was definitely out since it was already more than half finished by then. Ah well.
Mila (Poland) belongs to me.
Korakuu (Germany) belongs to ~XHazelbomb
Anne (England) belongs to ~piplup40
Paris (France) belongs to =littaly
Aniko (Hungary) belongs to ~TeamVictory

I hope I didn't make any of the characters seem OOC.. I mainly relied on previous knowledge & Pi's info (I mean about history, not the chus themselves!) for what the characters are doing, plus Korakuu's description didn't say anything about personality..
Oh yeah I should also explain Mila's lack of back marking.
You see, I said I'd redesign her. The back marking is actually pretty much the only thing I mean to change on her.. Because the emblem was too complicated. I haven't yet decided what the new marking would be.. So until I make the new ref, Mila's back is blank. Except for the scar.
I should also note the thing about scars.. On her ref, they are much paler, and not even real scars anymore; just markings. And you can see that here, she has more scars than on the ref. This is because most of her scars were gained during WWII, and back then they were still fresh. Her modern-day markings are the remmaints of those wounds.
I also planned to explain what's going on in each panel, but.. It's late, yo. Maybe tomorrow.

Okay so. First you got panel, then historical description, then what's going on in the panel (as some things might remain unclear still after the history description, idk)
1st panel - Germany fakes Polish attack on them to have an excuse to attack Poland. Mila is confused, but feels that she needs to check what's going on.
2nd panel - Germany invades Poland. Basically a pre-fight scene right there. Mila's electricity is only white to distinguish it from Korakuu's.
3rd panel - So yeah Germany was stronger.. Not much to say there. So Mila is defeated, but doesn't want to give up. The many scars.. owo
4th and 5th panel - Many people got sent into concentration camps. Poland not only had a lot of Jews (the most hated group for the nazis), but is also Slavic. Slavs were also considered a less-worth race, good only for work. (I remember reading the thing about Slavs in a history book..) Mila is being taken into one of the camps.. Still refusing to give in.
(note that the text-only panel I don't really count as a panel..)
6th panel - "12.09.1936 Abbeville

Poles are not informed about it
Till the end they hope for help" Pretty self explanatory. Mila remembers Anne and Paris promising to be her allies.. But they didn't come to help.. And she is starting to lose hope.
7th and 8th panel - Surely extremely dangerous - people would get shot immediately if they were seen running away- but some people must have managed to get out. Right? Mila sees a hole in the wall/fence-thing, and gathers the last bit of her power to break out. Note how she is shuddering - she is barely standing.. But she manages to escape somehow. (also, did you notice a PMD reference in the 8th panel?)
9th, 10th and 11th panel - Hungary refuses to attack Poland on Germany's request, stating it would dishonor the Polish-Hungarian friendship. This enables a lot of Poles to escape into Hungary, and also in Romania. Mila sees Korakuu talking to Aniko and sees it as a horrible sign - no wonder, after all she's been through, she lost nearly all hope that things can still turn out for the better. If the two of them are talking, it ought to mean Aniko will betray her as well? But she did not see that her friend refused to betray her. At this point Mila was pretty much desperate, and only cared about running away.. She slipped while trying to climb up some rocky cliff/mountain thing (Lion King reference?) and saw Aniko.. She only saw that Korakuu was telling her something before, but ran off before Aniko's reaction, and therefore believed the worst will happen now. But Aniko kneels down and offers Mila help and safety. This is why Mila is smiling in the last panel, as she realized that she still has good friends..
OKAY THIS IS IT I ALMOST LITERALLY CRIED OKAY
But overall, I like how this turned out. (//besides the sobbing part) Some things were especially hard to draw (Korakuu was such a pain, man lD), but I think I didn't do too bad, eh? This was also a good place to practice chu anatomy.. I just can't do legs! And the part where the tail is growing out, such faiiil lD
Oh, and fluffy cheeks. Put that on the list of hardest things to draw in a chu as well. And hair.. Except Mila's, I love how I did her hair.. Except in third panel, that didn't turn out quite right. But I better stop analyzing my drawing now, or I'll keep on finding flaws everywhere and completely lose all my confidence. ene
But I wish more people entered this contest, man. I mean, you get to learn about the country, and you tell other people about it, and all that.. Y'know. But ah well. I actually got this neat idea of what could be made for Slovenia.. But you know, not my chu. Still, I might do the thing anyway, not as a contest entry, but as fanart or something, idk. I promised =Chigle I would draw something for her, anyway.. And Maja needs more love, too.
