conviction vs condemnation
So, looking over the notes I took on the sermons from camp this summer, and decided to share a little bit out of what I wrote down. If it helps, the sermons were based out of Romans 8.
"Mercy:
-not getting what you deserve (the wrath of God)
Grace:
-getting what you don't deserve (the righteousness of Christ)
Mercy: involves taking
Grace: involves giving

What God gives:

Well folks, Christmas is here! by Jon-The-Hillbilly, journal
Well folks, Christmas is here!
Today is the day we (SHOULD) celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus our Lord and savior. If you have a beautiful, pure white dress and you drop the smallest stain upon it, what happens to that dress?
If God were to allow one person who had committed only one small sin in their l

I’ll give you an example: My mother, bless her, was a good cook but I couldn’t…well wouldn’t eat some of my food. We ate a lot of boiled potatoes and some awful, over cooked fish sticks on occasion. I had to sit at the table till I ate everything on the plate. My mother, the diligent housewife would start doing the dishes while I sat at the table staring at the plate. I was a sneaky kid and since we had no dog, I would wrap up the food I wouldn’t eat in a ti
